Meditation: Red poppies symbolize the frailness of humanity. Isaiah: 40:8 The grass withers, the flowers fade. But the Word of our God stands forever. In England, the Netherlands and France the red poppy is used as a symbol to remember soldiers who lost their lives during World War II. ( In Flanders Fields by John Mc Crae). Red symbolizes love, passion and the blood of Jesus Christ. The symbolic meaning of the wheat is from Isaiah 55:10 “It is the same with my Word. I send it out and it always produces fruit. I will accomplish all I want it to, and I will prosper everywhere I send it. Yellow speaks of the glory of God covering the whole earth.
